Opening Prayer: Thank You for the ways You are coming to us. Holy Spirit, You are so welcome here. We love who You are. Come and breathe on us. Come and brood over us. Come and stir our hearts. Come and tickle us. Do whatever You want. Honestly. We are totally here. We are totally available to learn today so come and do what You do best. Be that Spirit of wisdom and revelation and glorify Jesus to us for His sake. Amen.

I love being a Dad. I have five children, lots of grandchildren and I absolutely adore being a father. I have had so many experiences with God as my Father by learning how to be a father myself.

One of my earliest experiences and encounters with God in that Fathering moment with my own kids was with my first born son, Ben. It took him ages to crawl and I said to the Lord, please let him learn to walk fast. I wanted him to learn to walk because I wanted to play with him in a different way and I really wanted him to walk.

I remember one moment when he stood up against the couch on his fat little legs and I do not know what came over me, but I just knelt down and I spread my arms wide. I put this huge smile on my face and I said, “Come on Ben. Come on Ben.” And his eyes started getting giddy because he saw something in my face. His face started mirroring mine and he starts smiling, laughing and reaching out and he starts to walk. He takes two steps, drops to his knees and crawls the rest of the way.

So I pick him up, turn him around, find his tummy button and blow the biggest raspberry on it. I put him back in the same place and I go to the same position and I do this for 15 minutes and he loves it and he learned to walk within the week.

But here is the thing. In that moment when I’m carrying him and I am telling him, “Ben, this is who you are. This is what I love about you,” in that moment, I could feel the Presence of the Father. I have got hold of my son and suddenly, God has gotten hold of me and He starts doing exactly the same thing to me. “This is what I love about you. This is who you are. This is why I take such pleasure in you.”

Later on I am talking to the Lord about that experience and He says, “Graham, here is the deal. I am so super excited about your story and your journey. I have gotten rid of everything that was between you and I. I do not see you in that way. All your sin is dead to Me and all I can see is a brand new person learning how to become the man I want him to be. So when I look at you I do not see anything wrong with you. I only see what is missing from your experience with Me. Graham, I do not care if you stumble as long as you are stumbling towards Me. It is all covered. It is all under the Blood. It is all on the Cross. I’ve dealt with all that. What I am doing is establishing who you are in the way that I see you. The way you talked to Ben today is the way I am talking to you for the rest of your life.”

I suddenly realized that He engineered the whole thing just so He could show me how proud He is to be a Dad and how He loves us even when we are not making it, even when we are stumbling. He does not mind all of that. There is enough Grace to cover it all. There is so much Grace in your life that you will never use it all.

You can make mistakes for 10 years and you still will not exhaust the Grace of God. You can make mistakes for two decades and you still will not exhaust the Grace of God that He has set aside for you as a person.

That Grace covers everyone. It covers despicable people who are mean to you. It covers the enemy who hates you. It covers your own mistakes. It covers everything. Because He is a good Dad so He would have made full provision. Maybe that is part of what fullness means that you have to taste the fullness of God’s Grace. Everything is so covered so immensely, so hugely, you can only think about Grace in the context of abundance.

Everything about God is about abundance and fullness. So is Grace and so is Mercy. So is Kindness and so is Patience. It is all in the context about fullness and abundance because He doesn’t have any other way of being, that is the path He has chosen for Himself. He is Love. Get use to it. And His Love is unfailing, unceasing.

I want to talk to you this morning about establishing your internal overcomer.

We grow strong by overcoming. If we do not have something to overcome, we are never going to grow in the strength that God wants for us so the enemy has no place in our lives.

The enemy was created to serve the purposes of God. Nothing has changed. There was a war in Heaven, he got kicked out and he fell to the earth, but he was still created to serve the purposes of God.

For this purpose I have raised you up that I might demonstrate My power in you. Rom. 9

When the enemy is present, you know that God is more present. When the enemy is present, God is teaching you about Majesty. We all have to learn Majesty.

Spiritual warfare is not about taking authority over the devil. That is the consequence of warfare. Spiritual warfare is about discovering the Sovereignty, the Supremacy, and the Majesty of Jesus, and becoming intimate and confident in that Majesty.

All of us have to have encounters and ongoing experiences with Majesty because that is what makes us Warriors and GameChangers and Champions. It is that we know, that we know, that we know, that God is bigger, that God is greater, and that we know by experience. Your persona, your identity in Jesus grows stronger by overcoming.

The first obstacle that we have to conquer is our own negativity. We have to do violence to the things that have done violence to us. Not to the people, but to the things. Your identity is designed to upgrade who you are in the Spirit and to do that, it must target who you are not first and begin the process of redevelopment.

When the enemy is present, you know that God is more present.

Last night we heard about how you are known in Heaven. Some of you have prophetic words, and we have all got inheritance words and scriptures. I hope that we have at least isolated those, and that we have read through them and now we are thinking, “I am now really excited to study those and to begin the process of learning to see myself differently, think about myself differently, and talk about myself in a new way.”

Here is one of the principles of life in the Spirit: You cannot become a new person by changing your behavior. You discover the person you already are in Christ and behave accordingly. Listen. All your old behavior is already dead. Romans 6:11 He that is dead is free from sin. All your old behavior is already dead so God is not working on it. Why would He work on something that He has killed?

It is like there is a conversation in Heaven and it is like “Okay, so We will make this planet. We will make all these people. We will make them in Our image, but We will have to give them free will because We do not want to be served by robots or clones.” Brilliant! High fives all around.

“The next question is, what do We do with all the people who do not choose Us, who choose something else, even something violently opposed to Us? How do We bless those people? How do We touch those people? How do We love those people? How do We engage with those people?”

It is at that point that Scripture says, “Jesus was slain before the foundation of the world.” What does that mean? Before Genesis 1:1, there was this conversation and Jesus agreed before God said, “Let there be light!” He agreed that at some point, He would step into the history of the world, step into humanity and give Himself as a sacrifice for sin so that people could find God and be restored. This was before man was even made.

GameChangers Key 1

Your identity grows strong by overcoming.

If you or I had been Creator and we knew that it was going to go that pear-shaped, we would have said, “Forget it, let’s just make another Jupiter!”

So, there is something compelling about you that caused God to go ahead even though He knew what would be happening. He went ahead, knowing that He would have to make an ultimate sacrifice just to keep you within the remnant of His love, His care and of His passion. That is amazing to me. That is intentionality.

At that point they decided that Jesus would come and die. Then what happens? “We have to take them from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of Light. We have to get them to clean up their act and think differently and all that kind of stuff and who is going to do that job?” They are looking down and looking away and Jesus says, “Well, I am going to die for humanity so that leaves you two.” And the Holy Spirit is going, “I do not want that job. What? You mean pastoring their behavior into something new? I do not want that job. It could be boring!”

And the Father said, “Well, I have still got the universe to keep planning.” They are looking at each other wondering what they are going to do. After lunch, they have another thought. “I know! When Jesus is dying on the cross, why don’t We put everybody into Jesus and kill them? Why don’t We kill them and then We will put them in the grave with Him as well? So We will need to invent a kind of experience – We will call it baptism, and when they are baptized into His death and they come out in newness of life, all the old life is left in the grave. Then We will just deal with newness of life! That means We never have to deal with their behavior. We just have to deal with their identity. It means that We do not have to deal with their sin because it has been dealt with once and for all. We just get to deal with righteousness! We will just say to them, ‘Dude/Dudette, reckon yourself dead. Consider yourself dead to sin and be alive to Me.’” They are all high fiving each other, hugging each other, kissing each other because that is a brilliant idea!

“We will never deal with their sin because We will deal with it in Jesus. That means everyone is free to become complete in You as fast as they want, and We will tell them that they do not become a new person by changing your behavior – because We actually killed your old behavior – you discover who you are becoming in Christ, and you behave accordingly. So We will put them into Jesus and We will talk to them all the time about being new.

We will teach them how to think differently, how to see differently, and how to talk about themselves differently. It will be brilliant and it will be fun, and the Holy Spirit will enjoy Himself.” Now He wants the job, right? The Holy Spirit is Mr. Enthusiastic. He is really excited about telling you who you really are in Jesus.

That is why God gives us prophecy. He wants us to know stuff about ourselves. That is why He gives you specific scriptures, because He wants you to know that this is how He sees you and this is what We are making you into. This is what you are partnering with Us about.

Here is the thing then. When God speaks those things into your life, when He speaks those prophetic words, when He speaks those scriptures into your life, they will clash with your own inherit negativity. That is deliberate. God has designed all prophecy to hit that negativity head on. So what will happen is, as the Word of the Lord falls into your spirit, all the negativity in your soul will automatically rise to meet it. This is designed by God, because He wants you to be thrilled by the word He is giving you. Then He wants you to understand that the negative that is rising up in you, He is saying to you, “And that is what We are getting rid of first! All of that because all of that will stop all of this.”

The word coming down is designed to draw up your negativity so that when you see it, you realize that is what the Holy Spirit is dealing with in these next few weeks. That is what the entrance of the Word does into our life.

We do not fight negativity by engaging with it. If you engage with negativity you give it a focus and whatever you focus on you give power to. The whole point of the prophecy is that you engage with the prophecy, and engagement with the prophecy helps you to deal with the negativity.

You never draw attention to a negative because it is dead. Look at your neighbor and say, “All your negativity is dead. It is ALL dead.” I can hear people saying, it is dead! It is buried! And it stinks! It is in the ground and you cannot bring it back together.

Some of us have to stop resurrecting our old man. Some of us in this room have raised our old man from the dead so many times, we should all be apostles by now.Do not resurrect your old man and present it to the Lord because He does not like talking to corpses. He is talking about newness of life. When that negativity rises up inside of you, you do not give it any space, you do not give it any attention because it has already been dealt with. You focus on what God is doing in you. You focus on your identity BECAUSE YOUR IDENTITY IS THE KEY TO YOUR TRANSFORMATION. Your identity is the key to your behavior. Your identity locks your behavior up and says, “This is who I am. This is who I am becoming.

GameChangers Key 2

Your identity is designed to upgrade who you are in the Spirit.

We can move away from inferiority, from fear, and from intimidation. God loves your true identity. He loves to tell you who you are. That is why we have prophecy. When He introduces you to your true self, He relates to you in that way always.

GameChangers Key 3

You cannot become a new person by changing your behavior.
You discover the person you already are in Christ and behave accordingly.

When God gives you a prophecy, what He is saying is, “This is how I see you. This is how I think about you. This is how I am going to talk to you. I am only talking to this person (the new person), because that person (the old man) is dead. So do not bring that person up because I am not talking to him. And if you talk to me with your old man, I am not going to be listening because I want to have a conversation with your new man.”

Sometimes when you are talking to some people – I was talking to one guy and he said, “If we are going to get to know each other Graham, then you need to know some things about me.” All my little alarm bells start going off and he starts to tell me all the things that are wrong with him and about all the things he is not good at.

I said, “Hang on a minute! Time out! I have a question. Which self is talking? Is this your old self or is this your new self? If this is your old self, honestly, I do not want to talk to him! That is not who you are, so I am not going to have a conversation with that. Which self is talking? I am not up for a conversation with anybody’s old man, especially my own. It is dead.”

Do not play dead. Stay dead.

Then I said to him, “Which self is talking because that does not sound like the real you, the new you, the true you? The real you would not say, ‘I hate myself.’ I will give you a few minutes just to have a conversation with yourself because I really do want to get to know you, but I do not want to get to know that – the old you. It is dead. Why would we let it have breath? You decide what kind of conversation that you want to have with me and we will have that one. But if you want to have a conversation with the old man, I am leaving. Honestly, I have better things to do – like cut my lawn with a pair of scissors.”

Here is the thing: The entrance of the love of God and the Word of God allow us to see the areas in our lives that are incomplete. When God looks at you, He does not see anything wrong with you because everything that was wrong with you, He killed off in Jesus. So when He looks at you, all He sees is what is missing from your experience with Him, and He is absolutely intentional about giving you an encounter with Him that will upgrade your experience with Him.

When the Holy Spirit puts His finger on a part of your life that is not working, what He is saying is, “Let Us get to work on that bit next. We want to take that behavior away and We want to give you this identity, because We are not actually going to be working on that, We are going to replace it."

Ephesians 4:22-24 says, Put aside the old man, do not work on it, put aside the old man, lay it aside. Be renewed in the spirit of your mind and put on the new man.

What does that mean? It means that we resolutely not deal with a negative. We are going to take it and put it where it belongs. It is on the Cross. It is in the grave. It has nothing to do with me. It is not mine. It belongs to Him and that is what is going on in the renewing of your mind, so I am not working on that, I am working on my newness of life. I am going to put on the new man which is made in the likeness of Jesus.

When the Holy Spirit puts His finger on the part of your life that is not working, He is pointing to the site of your next miracle.

God is only dealing with the new man. He is not dealing with the old. Nobody wanted the job (of dealing with the old man). Dealing with the old man is not real pastoring. Pastoring is present/future not present/past. There is a point when we get saved when it is really sensible for us to deal with our past, with traumas and things like that, let’s do that in a few weeks or a few months – get people delivered from being present/past so that nothing from your past can come into the present. Once that deliverance is complete and we really understand the power of the cross, now let’s become present/future people because the Holy Spirit, then, wants to stand in your present and tell you who you are going to be. Then He wants to give you the training and the schooling to walk into that identity.

Real pastoral ministry is present/ future built around the new man. It is not present/past, built around the old man. We are dealing with the new man. God is not dealing with your sin. He has dealt with it. God is dealing with your righteousness.

I was talking to a guy, the same conversation – if you really knew me, you would not like me. I said, “Okay, so what wouldn’t I like?” He said, “Well, I have really got an evil temper. I have got a bad temper.” I asked how long he had had it. He said, “All my life.” I said, “How old are you?” “42” “When did you get saved?” “I got saved when I was 21.” I said, “So for half your life you had a bad temper and for the other half of your life, you have not.” He said, “Oh no, I have a bad temper. It just comes over me. I have got a really bad temper.” I said, “What are you doing?” He said, “I am going to anger management classes.”

Sometimes being British is really hard because straight away I go to the Monty Python side of my brain. I am thinking, “Anger management? What are you going to do with that? Are you going to take it on the road? Is it going to be a show or something? Do you need an agent?” I am thinking all this weird stuff. Why would you want to control something that God has already killed? “I am managing my anger.” Right. Because it is going to earn you a living or something? What does that even mean? I said to him, “You know what? For 21 years in Christ you have not had an anger problem and God has not been dealing with your anger because He feels He has already dealt with it.”

Here is the thing: “For God to deal with your anger, He has to tread underfoot the Cross of Jesus. What He has to say is that the Cross clearly did not work so we are going to have to go to plan B.” Now, for the Father, the Cross really works. He sees you as dead and in the grave. Finished. No more.

Extinct. You are dead. You are not mostly dead. This is not The Princess Bride (a movie) revisited. You are not mostly dead. You are dead. You are completely dead. In fact, you have a fullness of dead. You have an abundance of dead. You are dead. There is no other way to say it. Dude, you are dead! Sweetheart, you are so flipping dead, it is unreal! You are dead. You are deader than dead. You are the deadest person since dead people were ever invented! You are so dead, you are ridiculous! So why would I resurrect all that stuff just so I can deal with it?

It is not going to work. God has not been dealing with your anger, man. He has been trying to teach you patience. God is dealing with the new man. He has wanted to replace that anger with patience for 21 years and you keep defaulting to a previous life. You do not have to deal with anger. You only have to deal with patience and if you deal with patience the anger will disappear. This is what we are learning.

We are learning about this so great salvation. It is so amazing. It is so incredible. It is so astonishing that you can only live in it by being amazed and astonished. You have to have a sense of wonder about who God is, about what He has done, and you have to have a sense of wonder about who you are becoming.

The entrance of the Word is designed to deal with everything, to tell you that God has already dealt with this stuff, and now, He is dealing with this stuff. So all your negativity has to come to the surface so that it can be actually gotten rid of forever. So any victim thinking, anything that is low self-esteem, anything that is judgmental, or prejudice, or cautious, or fearful, or anxious, or cynical, or worried, or hesitant, or pessimistic or bitter, or resentful, or sarcastic, or anything that is easily upset, or anything that is easily offended, fear of man, fear of being wrong, fear of looking stupid, fear of risking, doubt, unbelief, intimidation, prone to deception, believing the worst, feeling unworthy, being entirely too self-conscious, being timid, frightened, discouraged, bullied, subdued, and defeated, it is flipping dead!

You are no longer subject to those things. That is what dead means! All these things He is joyfully going to get rid of, not by drawing attention to them, not by working on them, but by giving you something brilliant in exchange for them.

When the Holy Spirit puts His finger on the part of your life that is not working, He is pointing to the site of your next miracle. There is no shame.

There is no blame. We are not religious fanatics. We are not brain dead fundamentalists. There is no shame. There is no blame. Jesus took it all. Right? We enjoy every encounter with the Holy Spirit.

Some people say, “Well, what did you learn in Dallas?” “Everything is dead! I learned about fullness of death.” All of those things He is joyfully going to get rid of, not by not paying attention to them, not by working on them, but by giving you something brilliant in exchange for them.

When the Holy Spirit puts His finger on a part of your life that are not working, He is pointing to the site of your next miracle. So, get excited! There is no shame, no blame because we are not religious fanatics. We are not brain dead fundamentalists. There is no shame and no blame because Jesus took it all! Right? So when God puts His finger on something that is not working, He is showing you the site of your next miracle and He is saying to you, “I have something that I need to give you in place of that. Why don’t you just give that to me and we will never talk about it. And why don’t you receive this because this is what we are talking about. This is what I want you to have. This is what I am doing in you. This is what we are going to be talking about. This is what you are going to be praying about. This is what you are going to be worshipping about. This is newness of life.

So we enjoy every encounter with the Holy Spirit. When He points things out in our life that is not working, He has not said, “Now deal with this or else!” He is saying, “That does not belong to you, it belongs to Me. I need to take that back because it belongs to Jesus because He paid for it. He paid a price for it. It belongs to Him. It does not belong to you. THIS is what belongs to you.”

GameChangers Key 4

We fight negativity by stepping into our identity and by practicing what
God sees about us.

We are living this strategic life exchange that is super exciting. When we meet people, who are weary and tired because they are dealing with their old nature, we can say to them, “Hey! Hang on a minute. THAT is not who you are. All that stuff is dead. God is not working on it.

You are supposed to lay it aside and put on something else.” That is what we are doing with the Holy Spirit. We are establishing our internal overcomer.

Let me read you something from the Bible. This is in Judges 6. I want to give you an example of what it looks like. This is what it looks like. Gideon is hiding out in a wine press making bread, like you do when you are depressed. Right? He is hiding out from the Midianites who are behaving like a whole swarm of locusts. Every time harvest comes, they come streaming into the land and they steal everything that is not nailed down.

Gideon has managed to hide supplies. He is making a loaf of bread, and the Lord shows up. This is what the Lord says to him (Judges 6:12) The angel of the Lord appeared to him and said, “The Lord is with you, oh valiant warrior! What is happening? The Lord has come and He wants to say to Gideon, “This is how I see you. Remember? This is how you are known in Heaven. Gideon, you are known as a valiant warrior.”

Gideon is feeling anything but valiant at this point in time. The first thing that happens is the Word comes in and it touches all his negativity, and it rises up. So Gideon says this, Oh my Lord! If the Lord is with us, why has all this happened to us? He has issues. Listen, God does not choose anybody who does not have issues. Where are all those miracles which our fathers told us about saying, “Didn’t the Lord bring us up from Egypt, but now the Lord has abandoned us and given us into the hand of Midian?”

Gideon is annoyed. Oh really? Valiant warrior? Then why is all this happening? All this negativity, all these issues, they all come out and the Lord completely ignores him. It is like he never spoke.

Go in this your strength. The Lord is with you, oh valiant warrior …because God does not hear all the negative stuff. Guys, it is like when the girl you like is giving you the friendship talk, all we hear is blah blah blah. Blah, blah, blah……friend. I remember when Theresa gave me the friendship talk. Same thing…blah, blah, blah, blah……friend. It is like, forget friend sweetheart. Seriously, I did not hear a word.

The Lord looks at Gideon. Do you understand that? The Lord LOOKS at him. Now when the Lord LOOKS at you, He KNOWS what He is seeing. He is seeing a different person than the one you are seeing. So who are you going to believe? That old man that is supposed to be dead and in the grave or are you going to believe that God has come to show me who I really am?

The Lord looks at him and says, Go in this your strength, and deliver Israel from the hand of Midian. Have I not sent you? Up comes more of Gideon’s negativity! Oh really? How will I deliver Israel? My family is the least in Manasseh and I am the youngest in my father’s house, which is a polite way of saying, sorry, I did not hear a word You just said. And the Lord said to him, Surely I will be with you and you shall defeat Midian as one man. God totally ignores the second thing that Gideon said.

Here is the lesson for this morning.

If you want to whine and complain and be negative, do not expect God to listen to you. He will not. Really. He is not going to listen to your negativity. Why? Because it is already dead. Dead. So all those prayers that you crafted that are whinny and complaining, you are going to have to burn that stuff. He is not interested.

Have you ever wondered why God does not answer all the prayers that you pray? How many people have had prayers that God has not answered? You know the reason why He has not answered it? He does not like it. “I am not listening to that! You are whining!”

GameChangers Key 5

Your first response to the Word of the Lord will be to express a negative. (Gideon)

Sometimes I have been praying and the Lord says to me, “What are you doing?” I say, “Well, Lord, I am praying.” “No, you are not. You are totally NOT praying! You are moaning at Me. You are complaining. Graham, you are whining. I am not listening to that stuff.” “Well, what do I do?” “Think of something better to pray.”

Here is the thing. God wants to answer the prayer that Jesus is praying. So if you are not praying the same prayer that Jesus is praying, He is not going to listen. He will say, “No. I am not answering that prayer. I want to answer THIS one.” That is why Jesus said to ask and keep on asking because it is like you did not get it right the first time. You need to ask something better. Better. No, keep going. Keep going.

You can do it. Warmer. Warmer. Warmer. You are so hot, I could kiss you Myself right now! THAT is the prayer that I want to answer.
If you hear that Voice saying, “keep praying.” What He means is, do not keep praying that, keep praying until you find the right one because He is not answering that original prayer. He wants you to pray a better one.

It is official. God is not listening to your negativity. All your excuses of why you cannot do it, He is not listening. All your reasons why something will not work, He is not listening because He KNOWS He can make it work. He knows that you need His power, so He is not listening to you say, “I do not have any power.” He said, “Well, I chose you because you did not have any power. You plank! I am going to give you power. I am going to give you everything you need but YOU still have to do it. So, I am not listening to that. No. Keep praying.

You are getting better. That is it! THAT is the one! Now We are in business!”

The entrance of the Word of God is designed to draw all your negativity to the surface so God can laugh at it. So God can grin at you and say, “I am so totally NOT involved in that. Let’s put that aside and let Me give you this. Let Me show you, Gideon, this is what I am doing.

Gideon, you ARE a valiant warrior and I am with you. In your strength, you can go and deliver Israel from the hand of Midian. I have sent you. I will be with you and you WILL defeat Midian as one man.”

It is what my daughter calls the ‘n’ word. Nevertheless. There are times when she was a teenager and she would storm into my study and say, “Dad! God just used the ‘n’ word.” I am grinning at her and saying, “What is He saying no to now?” She said, “He did not say no. He said, ‘Nevertheless.’ I am telling Him why I cannot do this stuff and He just says, ‘Nevertheless.’ He says it like I never even spoke! What is going on, Dad?” “He does not deal with negativity. He has already dealt with it.” “So, what do I do?” “Well, you just have to ignore it like He is, and you have to accept that what He is saying to you is stronger than what your old man is saying. Your old man is dead. This is who you really are.”

When God speaks to you, you have to get ahold of it. God gives you the ‘n’ word and it is His way of saying, “I am totally not dealing with that stuff because I have already dealt with it. I have no plans to deal with it. I am not interested in dealing with it. THIS is what we are talking about.”

How can I deliver Israel? My family is the least tribe. I am the youngest in my family. What Gideon is saying is, “This is too big. I have no power, no influence, no place of authority.” He is completely missing the point that if God is there saying that you CAN do it, He is giving you the authority. Just because you do not feel it, is not the issue.

The issue is, do you see it? If you see it, you can become it. It will be awhile before you feel it. You have to see it and you have to think about it and you have to talk about it, THEN you can experience it and then you can feel it.

Prophecy’s Purpose

Prophecy is designed to:

  • expose you to your identity.
  • expand your partnership with God.
  • expedite your deliverance from your own negativity
  • create freedom from what is holding you down or holding you back.
  • deal with a poverty mindset.

A poverty spirit is not about economics. It is about living with meager possibilities. When God has promised you fullness, there is NO measure. You are moving into fullness which means the more you keep walking into something; the deeper the resources come because the water level is always rising as you are walking out into the things of God. If you are retreating from the things of God, the water level is going to drop.

GameChangers Key 6

Prophecy is designed to expose you to your identity and expand your partnership with God.

If you read Ezekiel 47 it talks about the river of life. It says that he measured a thousand cubits and he walked out and he was up to his ankles. He measured another thousand and he was up to his knees. He measured another thousand and he was up to his waist. He measured another thousand and suddenly his feet cannot feel the floor and he is being swept away.

When we are walking out into our destiny and our identity, we are walking into an ever increasing fullness. The water level is going to get higher. The higher the water level gets, the more the things you are not recede. The higher the water level gets, the more you become who you are supposed to be until you are swept away in your new identity and that new identity becomes the only way you can see yourself.

Obedience is acting in line with who God is for you.

That is a GameChanger right there. That is our process that we are being faithful to, that we are committing to, and it is the process that God is adhering to in your life. He has no other process for you than this. So do not ask Him if you can do it a different way because He is just going to say, “Well……actually, no.”

You lay aside the old man, you embrace the new man and we will walk together in the fullness of that.

God will never answer your negativity. All He will say is, “Surely I will be with you.” Or as my daughter says, “Nevertheless! I will be with you.” This basically means, “Shut up! Quit whining. I am going to be there. What really is the problem?”

He will be with you to develop your identity and to actually develop the positive side of your personality. He will engage with your personality to give you Himself, to give you the Fruit of the Spirit, and to absolutely put the handcuffs on anything negative.

Please understand. These next few weeks after this event one of the first things that is going to start to happen is, God is going to start to deal with your own inherent negativity. The Holy Spirit is going to enjoy Himself, so you may as well enjoy it yourself. He is going to make war on your negativity, and you need to make war with Him. Choose who you are going to serve in that fight. You do not want to be fighting against the Lord. You do not want to be resisting the Lord. You do not want to be embracing something that other people do not like about you. You need to be embracing the God side of you so that we can get rid of this other stuff.

For many of us, it has been around entirely too long and GameChangers change their own game first. They change their own mindset. They change their own perception. They change their own language first.

What is God doing? He is bringing your personality into alignment with His because we are supposed to be being made in the image of God.

On the journey that Gideon takes, he has to learn obedience.

What is obedience? Obedience is acting in line with who God is for you. Disobedience actually means that you are working against the purpose of God in your own life. You could be saying yes to something – in a meeting like this we all get excited, we all stand up, we all assume the position – we say yes to the concept of what God wants to do, but we do not say yes to the practice that follows.

Pretending vs. Practicing

Over the next few weeks you are going to get to say yes to the practice, because now you have to practice this stuff. We are not pretending that we are new people, we are practicing that we are new people.

I was talking to a friend of mine and she was telling me about a difficulty that she had with another woman in the church, and I was saying, “Listen, scripture is clear, you have to love her.” And she exploded, “But she says this, she says that. She has done this, she has done that. I cannot pretend to love her.” I said, “Sweetie, I am not asking you to pretend. I am asking you to practice.” Lawyers practice. A lot of people are in prison because lawyers were practicing.

Doctors practice. I go to my doctor and he says, “We could do this. We could give you this drug or that one.” I look at him and I say, “Doc, are you practicing right now? If you are practicing my guinea pig rates are like $200 per hour. You should be paying me right now.” He says, “Mr. Cooke, I am always tired when you leave.” I said, “Well, dude, do not practice so much with me and we will get along fine! If you are practicing, this is what I charge.”

We practice until we are brilliant at it. No one is asking you to pretend. The whole of Heaven is saying, “Please. Would you just practice this stuff? It will be great.”

The Father takes a huge interest and involvement in the development of who you are. The Holy Spirit loves the war on negativity because He is so equipped to fight it. He is such a genius at fighting it, and He will make it exciting and interesting because He is that kind of person. He is the most encouraging, the most exhilarating, the most exuberant personality that I have ever met. He is a genius at everything and He flat out knows it and He will say to me sometimes, “Graham, do not forget. Tell them that I am a genius because they live like they do not know.”

Holy Spirit is the One who gets everything done. The Father speaks it into being and the Holy Spirit goes and gets it done. He is a genius at life. Jesus is Lord over the Church. The Holy Spirit is Lord inside the Church. He has come to take everything that belongs to Jesus and make sure that you get it. That is His job description and He loves it! He loves revealing Jesus. He loves disclosing to you what is coming next. He wants you to be prophetic in your lifestyle. He wants you to be present/future. He wants you to be pulling the future into today.

He wants to give you a quickening Spirit. He wants to speed up your development.

GameChangers Key 7

When God gives you the Word of the Lord, you have to obey it.
You have to see yourself as that person.

Hand on heart. How many of us right now know that in terms of time, we are behind the time of our own development. No blame. No shame. It is not allowed in Heaven. What it means is that God has to redeem time. How does God redeem time? He speeds up your response. He accelerates your involvement and your partnership. He quickens you. What does that mean? It means that God can give you 5 years growth in 12 months.

If you are going to go for that spirit of acceleration, you are going to have to learn to run and not walk. You have to learn to say yes faster. You have to let your yes be yes and you have to practice your partnership with the Holy Spirit so you can have acceleration.

Here is the thing that I have discovered about acceleration. When God accelerates you, it is always faster than you feel it is going. You do not know how it happens and suddenly you are here at the end of the year and you look back and you say, “Wow! I have actually made all that growth,” but you really never had a conscious sense of the growth being made while it was being made. Retrospectively you think, “OMG! I am bigger in this than I was at the start of the year. These things have changed!” Everyone is looking at you saying, “There is something different about you.” They say, “You do not have a mustache.” You say, “I have never had a mustache, my husband does not like them!” (Laugh, it is a joke!)

When you make war on your own negativity, you are making war using the favor of God.

Here is the brilliant thing. When God makes war on your negativity, there is going to be a necessary conflict on the inside of you. Your whole part in this thing? Choose whose side you are going to be on. There is a conflict on the inside of you and that conflict is good because the conflict is designed to create dependence. Dependence requires reassurance.

This is why Gideon puts out a fleece.

Here is the thing, before I get into the fleece thing. Let me finish this thought off. God says to Gideon, “You are going to be a valiant warrior” and then he brings up all this stuff about why it is not going to happen. God ignores that and says, “I have called you to go out and defeat Midian and so on. Go in this your strength. You are a deliverer. Gideon brings up his negativity. God totally ignores it and says, “Surely I will be with you and you shall defeat Midian as one man.”

At that point, Gideon gets it. Gideon gets it! God is telling me who I AM. He is NOT telling me who I am not. When God is telling me who I am, He will not listen to who I am not. All my excuses, all of that stuff, He is going to totally ignore it.

Gideon gets it, and finally he comes up with a good response.

Judges 6:17, If now I have found favor in Your sight. What happens is, he realizes that God is looking at me and He is telling me what He sees so that means that I have favor in His sight. That favor is what you are learning in the war against your negativity.

When you make war on your own negativity, you are making war using the favor of God. It is like; I have got favor to triumph over myself. I have got favor to conquer my old self. I have favor in my own development. I have got favor to see myself differently, think about myself differently, talk about myself differently. I have favor to walk in newness of life. I have favor to move into fullness and abundance. I have favor. I have found favor in God’s sight and I am going to take it for a spin. If favor was a Lamborghini, you would want to be doing 160 MPH.

When God gives you favor, there is no speed limit. Favor is designed to get you places faster, quicker, better, stronger, and faster than you imagined. Favor is the vehicle of choice in terms of growth and development.

If I have found favor in Your sight, then show me a sign that it is You that speaks with me.

Gideon wants to offer God a sacrifice. He wants to cook God a meal and offer it is a sacrifice.

When you are learning to live in the favor of God, you make all your negativity into a sacrifice. You burn it. You cook it. You roast it - whatever you want to do with it. Add any sauce you like as long as you give it to God as a sacrifice. You make your negativity an offering to the Lord. This now belongs to You. I am giving it up. I am giving up whining – not for Christmas, not as a New Year’s resolution – I am giving it up as an offering to You and I am accepting the version of me that You see when you look at me. I am accepting that. I am laying aside the old and putting on the new. I am embracing it. That is what is happening.

When you look at what the Lord said to Gideon, you see the same three things that we talked about last night, elevated status, legal authority, and permission to overcome. So, what we do not want here is, we do not want anyone leaving this place being disobedient about what God is saying to you.

Disobedience occurs when we act out of alignment with our true identity. You have to act in alignment with your destiny. Otherwise, when God says that this is who you are and you act out of alignment with it, you are disconnected from your obedience. You are in disobedience.

Obedience is you putting yourself into alignment with who God says you are and then then starting to practice that lifestyle.

Moses had a very similar internal battle when God called him to deliver Israel from bondage from the most despotic ruler of an oppressive regimen. In Exodus 3 & 4 you hear the dialogue going on between the Lord and Moses. Moses said, “Who am I that I should go?” And all God says is, “Certainly I will be with you.” You can hear the echo. He said the same thing to Gideon. Moses said, “Well, what if they will not believe me?” “Well, I will give you these three signs and they will.” “But I am not eloquent. I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.” “Go and I will be with your mouth and I will teach you what you should say.”

God does not listen to any negative pronouncement or excuse that Moses makes. It is like God is looking at you saying, “One of us is God here, and the other one is not. I will give you a moment to think about that. Here is a little clue: It is not you. So when I talk, you listen.

When you talk in that negative way, I do not listen because I have come here to tell you what I want to be for you in the process of what I am calling you to.”

That is the fascinating thing to me about identity. We are learning ‘what does God want to be for me now?’ That is my favorite question in my own journey, in my own story, when something goes wrong or when some negative thing happens. My question is, “Lord, what is it that You want to be for me now that this has happened?” I know that every situation in my life is about that, and it is only about that. It is about the fact that God wants to be something for me. If the enemy shows up, God is going to increase something in me. If a negative thing shows up, God wants to be something for me. Everything is relational with Him so we never pray functional prayers.

Functional Prayer vs Relational Prayer

A functional prayer is, “Lord, could You give me strength so I can do this.” That sounds like a good prayer, but it is not. It is a cheesy one. It is a functional prayer.

A relational prayer is, “Lord, will You come and BE my strength so that You can do this through me.” A relational prayer is a partnership prayer that is saying that You and I are in this together, and You can come into my low place and lift it up to a high place, and push Yourself through me into this situation. I want to partner with You in my circumstances.

GameChangers Key 8

Conflict is designed to create dependence, and dependence always
requires reassurance.

Your circumstances are never the problem. Your perception of the circumstances is the problem. If you really want to get victory in your circumstances, you have to see them the way that God sees them. Then your question is, “Lord, what do You want to be for me now that You could not be at any other time?” Everything is about relationship.

The first thing is, we never put the problem or the difficulty ahead of our relationship with God. If we are giving Him the preeminence in all things, that means that His relationship with me and my relationship with Him is the prime number one ingredient of every single circumstance. So the first thing is, before I get into, “Lord, deal with this thing,” or “I am a Christian, get me out of here,” – a prayer that He seldom listens to mostly because He probably spent $30,000 and 3 weeks of planning just to get you in that situation – so He can get you in that situation, because He wants to be with you and He wants to be something for you.

Sometimes a more difficult circumstance occurs because we have not read the signs correctly early on. It builds up until God says, “Okay, you asked for it, so We are going to have to engineer a whole situation for you so you can learn who I want to be for you.” That is not always true, but it is when it is.

We are learning not to be disobedient. We are learning to act in alignment with who God wants to be for us. When we hit an encounter that is difficult or a circumstance that is bothersome, our first thing is, what does this mean for my relationship with You and for Your relationship with me. What do You want to be for me relationally?

That is the prime prayer to pray. Lord, what does this mean for our relationship? When you get that answered, you know exactly how to pray. I mean, it is just like that. You do not even have to think about it because it just wells up on the inside of you. You know what God wants to be for you, and suddenly you are in a flow of something. Here is the brilliant thing, you are not praying towards God, you are praying with Him. When you know, that you know, what God wants to be for you, that is the major thing. What is it You want to be for me, Lord? That is my prime responsibility to discover that.

So, here is Moses still whining and saying, “My speech is so poor. I can just see it. When I get in Pharaoh’s court...” – you know, Pharaoh’s court is not just a small room. It is a huge room that has thousands of people in it. It has tiered seating and Pharaoh is going to be like 30 or 40 feet up on a platform on his throne, and then there are going to be different platforms for other kings, and other platforms for other dignitaries, and other platforms for key business people, military and so on, and the ordinary people are going to be on the baseline step looking up, and you will never get to talk to Pharaoh personally. An aide will come to you and ask you what you want and he will take it to Pharaoh and you will have to wait for the answer.

So Moses has to go in, and he has to speak above all of that because he knows that if he says something to this guy here, this guy is trained to know what kind of things to take to Pharaoh. If he does not like what you are saying, he will just say, “No. Come back. Think again and come back.” You will not even get your petition heard.

Moses is going to have to go in and shout above all that noise and make his voice heard. The whole thing about his voice is really important to him. “I am slow. I am not eloquent. I stutter. I have all these speech impediments. I am useless at this. I do not even know why You picked me.” And God is going, “You are kidding, right? You are perfect! You are perfect for this job because when everyone hears you speak, they are going to say, “That is not Moses! That has to be God!”

Here is the thing, Moses is still presenting this issue. “You do not understand. I cannot do it. I am useless at it.” What he is really saying is, “I do not even want to try.” And the Lord says this to him in Exodus 7:1 SEE! I have made you as God to Pharaoh and Aaron will be your prophet.

GameChangers is designed to take you to a whole different level of lifestyle, of language, perception, and thinking so that your whole personality changes.

You have to know the height that God will go to for your sake. I am going to make you as God to Pharaoh. God is not saying, “Listen, Moses, you are really pushing Me now. I am going to make you the fourth member of the Trinity for this whole weekend.” No, He is not saying that. He is saying this, “By the time you and I have finished with Pharaoh in his limited understanding of things, he will have to have an excuse about why he just got his behind kicked by a shepherd boy from the wilderness. The only thing he is going to be able to come up with is this – Moses must be some kind of God in human form.”

Can you imagine the Lord grinning and saying, “This is going to be so much fun! I am going to make you as God to Pharaoh. Here is the thing though, Moses, you cannot go into that throne room and speak like Pee Wee Herman because that is going to be embarrassing to you. You have to go in there and at least talk like John Wayne. You have to ramp up your voice.” What is He saying?

To come into alignment with how God sees you, you have to allow everything in you, your thinking, your perception, your language, your whole personality, the way you stand, the way you project – everything has to come up to that level. So Moses has to learn and practice speaking like God would speak. When he gets in that throne room, he cannot just go, “Let My people go that they might serve Me in the wilderness!” (Spoken in a high pitched, squeaky voice.) It would be embarrassing. Seriously.

He has to come in at the right level. He has to stand there. He has to have the stature. He has to look Pharaoh right in the eye and say, “Let My people go that they may serve Me in the wilderness!” (Spoken in a loud, authoritative, commanding voice) Do you understand that? He has to come up to the level that God sees him, in the way that he speaks, in the way that he projects. He is not pretending. He is practicing until he becomes it.

Change Your Game

You put it on. You keep putting it on. You put it on. You keep putting it on. In every circumstance that you are doing, you put it on. You put it on. You put it on. You change your game. You change your game. You put it on. Every single situation is designed for you to put it on. Put on this identity. Put on this persona. Put it on. Learn how to stand. Learn how to walk in it. Practice it in front of the mirror. I do that all the time.

GameChangers Key 9

You have got to have the same perception of yourself that God has of you.

I remember 40 years ago when the Lord told me that He was calling me to a speaking ministry. I am an introvert. I am only an extrovert on the platform. After 40 years of ministry I am not an introvert anymore, I am ambivert. I am an introvert by inclination. I am an extrovert by anointing. When the two of those things melt together, it changes your whole personality.

How many of us start out as an introvert or an extrovert and then Christ comes into the mix and He reconciles both those things into one new man. So we all end up not being wholly introverted, and not being wholly extrovert. All the extroverts learn to become quieter. All the introverts get jobs in comedy. I am just kidding. All the introverts learn how to express themselves when Christ comes and reconciles two things into one.

We are all born with an introversion/extroversion scale that may be 90% one and 10% the other but by the time you go to meet Jesus it is going to be at least 70/30 or 60/40. You are going to be an ambivert. All the introverts are looking forward to when the extroverts get damped down a bit and all the extroverts are looking forward to the introverts coming up a bit because now, they are actually going to talk to me. That would be great!

See, I have made you. Guys, time out. This is really serious for God. When He says something to you, when He shows you how you are known in Heaven, everything in Him is saying to you, “Can you see it? Can you see it? Can you see it? See it. I have already done it.” What you are doing is, you are stepping into it. When God speaks to you, it is a done deal. I have made you. Not I will make you. I HAVE made you, so when you are stepping into the identity of it – this is a mystery to me, I do not know how it works, I just know that it does – when you step into the identity of it, you step into the fullness of it. You step into an accelerated experience of it.

What the Lord is saying when He says See I have made you, what He is saying is that you can become that as fast as you want. When the Lord says something like that to you, about how He sees you, He is saying to you, “You can step into it as fast as you want.” What He is saying to you when He says See, I have made you, He is saying that there is an accelerated mindset, perception, and language that now belongs to you and you can step into that. And we would love it; honestly, all your intercessors in Heaven, your personal angels would love it if you stepped into it really quickly because for some of you, we have been rotating your angel like every two weeks for the last 10 years because they are all bored out of their tree.

As you grow up into all things in Jesus, you grow up into your resourcing.

What is GameChangers? It is a crash course in becoming brilliant. It is a crash course in becoming like Jesus. It is a crash course that is designed to elevate you several levels in your experience with God and in your encounters with God. It is designed to take you to a whole different level of lifestyle, of language, perception, and thinking so that your whole personality changes.

The first step in that? Become your own internal overcomer. Make war on your own negativity. See. I have made you. What does that mean? You have permission to step outside the confines of your personality into the fullness of God.

Resourcing Your Identity

What if fullness and abundance are only linked to your true identity? What if you, living in your old man – the best you can expect is to get your needs met? Which honestly is the baby end of Life in the Spirit. Theresa and I have granddaughters that are about a year or so old.

These kids do not do anything in the house – we have noticed that. They do not clean up after themselves. They do not take a shower by themselves. They do not help mom in the kitchen. They do not do anything! For the longest time they were just a noise at one end and a smell at the other. You did not know when they were smiling at you if they were genuinely pleased to see you, or if they had wind. These little ones, they get ALL their needs met. What does that tell you?

Getting your needs met is the baby end of Life in the Spirit. God does not want to be meeting your needs for the rest of your life; He wants to give you your inheritance. That means that He wants to commit resources to you that allow you to be incredible, that allow you to be powerful, and that allow you to be brilliant. All those resources, all fullness and abundance, are attached to your identity.

As you grow up into all things in Jesus, you grow up into your resourcing. What does that mean? Somewhere along the way, cash is involved. God wants to resource you. He also wants to resource you in the people group that He has sent you to. Cash is involved. Property is involved. Your inheritance is a real thing to Him. There is a bank account in Heaven that has your name on it.

When you see your identity, you can see the resources that come with it. What that means is that at some point, your prayer life has to change. You have to stop praying like a widow and start praying like a bride. You have to start praying in line with who you are becoming – with all that God is saying to you about who you are.

If you do not see it, guys, you cannot develop it.

As we are learning to put on Christ, we are also learning to live in our identity about His call on us. When we are learning how to step into that identity, it will feel strange to us at first. It feels like an act and we feel uncomfortable. You can get over that. It is a choice.

You are not pretending. You are practicing. You are stepping into the role. Anybody who has had any acting experience knows that you have to lay aside who you are and take on that role. You have to act as though you are that person. That is all that we are doing.

One person stepping into a space that God had created for him changed the game.

That is why the fifth book of the New Testament is called the Acts of the Apostles – because they were acting. They were stepping into a role. Right? It is an act. So when you read those chapters they are not chapters, they are acts. Act 9. Act 10.

Act 10 is Peter stepping into the role of going to the Gentiles. He is not getting it at first so he has this sheet lowered 3 times with all these creepy crawlers in it. He hears a voice saying, “Arise Peter. Kill and eat.” And he is saying, “It is not so, Lord! It is not kosher. We do not do this kind of stuff. You wrote the Book, remember?’ The Lord says, “Son, this is a different play. Try and catch up. What I call clean, do not call unclean.” Peter is greatly perplexed!

God tells him that some guy is going to ring his doorbell in the next 5 minutes. “Peter, arise and go without misgivings.’ – which is a really polite way of saying, “Peter! Shut up! Do as you are told and go with them.” He goes with them. Gentiles walking down the street. He is thinking, “I hope the guys in Jerusalem cannot see me right now.”

He gets to Cornelius’ house and he is standing outside. He is probably having a What About Bob (a movie) moment – you know the opening scene of that movie where he is trying to get out of his room and he is walking up to the door and he has this fear of touching things. He walks up to the door, cannot do it. He walks around and he goes back to the door and he cannot go in. He goes back 4 or 5 times and then he takes out his handkerchief and he turns the knob and then steps out into the hallway. Now he does not know how to be in the hallway. Peter is having that kind of a moment!

Peter is thinking, “I hate my life!” He is standing there at Cornelius’ door thinking, “I want to be a plumber. I do not want to be an apostle any more. I hate this stuff!” And he is outside the house of a Gentile. He has never been in the house of a Gentile in his life and he crosses the threshold and the guys tell him why he is there.

We had this visitation. God gave us your address. We went down and you have been kind enough to come back so, tell us what God wants us to know. Peter suddenly has this epiphany and he says, “Now I perceive that God is no respecter of persons but everyone is now open to the Kingdom in Him. Now I get it!”

Peter had no idea the untold millions of people who were lining up behind the house of Cornelius. All the Gentiles – you and I were lining up behind the house of Cornelius. Peter has no idea the repercussions, but he has to step into this place just like he stepped across the threshold – he has to step into the space that God had created for him. GameChangers do that. Peter changed the game for billions of people. How about that for a GameChanger? Peter changed the game! Now it is no longer a Gospel for the Jews only. Now it is a Gospel for the whole of humanity.

One person stepping into a space that God had created for him changed the game.

Now he has to go back and tell the boys in Jerusalem. They are going, “Pete! What were you thinking? Were you even thinking? You have a history of not thinking. What was going on?” He was trying to explain it and in the end, he goes, “It is not my fault! Blame the Management! I could not stop God!” I think that is the essence of a GameChanger right there.

You are not getting in the way of God to stop Him. You are actually getting in the way of God to partner with Him.

Yes, it is going to be difficult on days to step into this place, but you have to do it because you are GameChangers.

GameChangers Key 10

If you don’t see it, you can’t become it.
If you see it, you have to agree with it
and you have to step into that identity.

Here is the thing. When you do it, you know how it works so that when you speak to other people, you know what they are going to go through and your testimony is designed to release them faster than you responded. That is how it works, right?

Your testimony is, I know how process works and I know that this is what you are going to go through, and this is how God is going to be with you. I can tell you all this stuff because I have gone through all this stuff. I know how this works. I know that God is going to ignore all my whining. So what have I learned? Do not whine. No complaining – it is the worship language of hell. Do not do it. Stop it. That is my two-word counseling ministry right there.

How You Are Known In Heaven

What are we learning? We are learning the process of alignment.

Right now, the negative side of you is under necessary challenge in the love of God. We are being delivered from fear, inadequacy, inferiority, pessimism, unworthiness, and being entirely too self-conscious. We are learning the mindset, the perception, and the language so that we can step into this whole new place, this whole new role in the Spirit.

We are learning how to step into our true identity and stay there and learn the mindset, the language and the perception that keeps us there and causes us to have everything open up and we become new people in Jesus.

Let us pray.

Father, I thank You. This is a brilliant day! This is a day that you get to say goodbye to that sucker – your behavior, your negativity. Understand the Holy Spirit is so going to enjoy getting to grips with all that you are not, and showing you all that you are. He is super excited right now. If all your friends could hear what you are hearing, they would be excited for you, too.

What are we learning from this session? You must wage war on your negativity. You do it KNOWING that you already won. This was a fight that was over long ago at Calvary. You do not have to deal with your old nature. It has already been dealt with. You are dealing with the new you, the true you, the real you, the GameChanger – You. That is what we are establishing. We are establishing a GameChanger.

Nothing negative. Everything is positive. That is why we are good rejoicers – because we do not see anything negative. We see possibilities.
Let’s stand to our feet. Let’s assume the position (a posture of receiving and yielding).

I am going to give you a moment to make your own declaration to the Lord. It needs to be something simple like, “Father, now that I have Your help, I am going to wage war on everything negative that is in my life. I am so going to enjoy myself!” Something like that. I will give you a minute. You form your own declaration in your heart. When you are ready, I want you to lift it up in your hands.

Say, “This is my declaration.” I want you to enjoy this time. I want you to love this time. I want you to take great pleasure in these next few weeks. I want you to rejoice. I want you to have fun. I want you to be delighted and energized every day. “I am getting rid of this stuff. I am stamping on its head.”

Father here we are. In our hearts we are making declarations to You. We are, Lord, with Your help, we are going to eradicate every shred of negativity out of our thinking, out of our perception, out of our body, out of our language, and out of our lifestyle. We are going to make war joyfully on that negativity. We are going to crush it. We are going to stamp on the head of that snake. We are going to cooperate with You. We are going to align ourselves with how You see us and out of our mouth is going to come something different about our self. In our thinking and in our perception, we know they are all about to radically change and we rejoice in the process. We give ourselves fully to the process of walking in newness of life for the sake of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen.
