Question 5 of 5
5. Question
5. Now, take all the words you have gathered and begin to form simple sentences about your identity. For example, I am a Joseph. God has given me wisdom to gather provision during a time of plenty that will sustain His people and others during a time of lack. I am a friend to all I meet. I have wisdom from God that causes me to be able to interpret dreams. I am compassionate and forgive others easily, especially members of my own family – both physically and from the household of faith – who have wronged me. I never seek to return wrong for wrong! When I have the ability to bless, I do, eagerly!
With practice, listening in to the Holy Spirit, and drawing from your favorite scriptures and prophetic words, you will soon have an identity statement that you can proclaim aloud into the atmosphere when the enemy comes to make you doubt yourself. Stand strong and see yourself like God sees you! (For further assistance in writing your identity statement, see How to Prepare Your Identity Statement found on the Aglow website under Resources > Global Leader Development > Skits > How to Prepare Your Identity Statement.-
