Question 1 of 2
1. Question
1. In Genesis 37 we see a young Joseph, a shepherd, tending the flocks of his father. Young Joseph had dreams and the exuberance to tell all who would listen. Being highly favored by his father, his brothers were already jealous. Those dreams did not help! Yet God planted in Joseph a dream that would not only save him and a nation, but his whole family.
God has planted within each one of us something vital that is needed in today’s world. Maybe your siblings made fun of you for this quality when you were little. Maybe your parents and teachers even discouraged you in the dreams God has planted in your heart.
As we listen together to soaking music, ask the Holy Spirit to renew those dreams, giftings, and talents that your Father gifted you with before you were born. Now is the time of their arising in your life. The world is waiting!
And if those special blessings given only to you are so far pushed down that you cannot even see them, ask the Holy Spirit to open your own eyes to see yourself from Heaven’s point of view.
Now sit quietly, pen in hand and write as you begin to see who you really are!

Question 2 of 2
2. Question
2. In the book of Esther, we find a young, orphaned girl. Her parents had been murdered and a kindly uncle had taken her in to raise. Suddenly the king was in need of a queen and all the beautiful young girls were whisked away to the palace to see who might make a suitable queen.
It would have been easy for Esther to disqualify herself. She was too young. She was orphaned. She did not have a mother to teach her queenly things! No excuse could stop the plan of God.
Often, we use excuses to disqualify ourselves from stepping into the places God is calling us. “I am too young. I am too old. I do not have the training. I need more training!” Yet God has His hand in the small of your back, propelling you into the future.
Waiting in His Presence, ask the Lord if there are places where He is calling you, yet you kept giving excuses. As He opens your eyes to see, ask Him to forgive you for being reluctant. In faith that He will do for you, what He did for Esther and the many others He has called, place your hand in His hand and rise. This is the time of your arising!
