And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

Change, especially with friendships and relationships, can be hard to understand. But God promises that He will work everything out, even the smallest detail, for our good.

• Have you experienced a change in a friendship that didn't make sense at first, but then you were able to see God at work in that relationship?
• Why do we fear change and would rather keep things the way they are, rather than experience growth?

Relationships are important to him, therefore if he seems to be adjusting relationships in your life, you can know that it's going to come full circle. You will see these people again and you will have some kind of connection with them, even if it's not what you had thought it might be. So today, I encourage you to keep your eye, keep your focuson the Lord. If he's telling us don't be afraid of wars or rumors of wars, we know he's saying the same thing about relationships. He knows how we're wired and he's saying “don't be alarmed, just keep yielding to me because I have a plan in the midst of this”. So we do yield every day our hearts, our lives, our behavior patterns, our needs, emptiness, fullness, every place where there's a human emotion - he has come to fill it, and he will fill it this time as well.
