VIDEO TRANSCRIPT
I so often reference current scriptures that I'm reading, and I happened on to this scripture, though I've read it many times, it wasn't in the lineup, so to speak, of my daily reading but it's found in Jude. It's Jude 24 and 25 and it says, “now unto Him who is able”. Able is a strong word that means he had there's power behind that word and he has the power to shift circumstances. “So now unto Him, who is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy”. And for some reason when I read that word faultless, in fact, I can hardly say it today. I want to weep. It so touches my Spirit. He is able to present you faultless. Think of that. You know, we get all turned in on ourselves like, “Oh shouldn't have said that” or “I kind of had a bad attitude there” or “Oh…” Multiple things that we become very self aware of, and maybe that's good sometimes because it is. It can be a course correction, but to be over done, it becomes very self-absorbed.
This scripture is so powerful in its positivity. It's saying, “he is able to keep you, absolutely keep you, from falling and to present you faultless before the throne”. Do you know what that word faultless means? Well I looked up the word: a fault is a defect. Well I have a couple defects, do you? It means impairment or mistakes that have taken place. We've all made mistakes - speaks of failures, sometimes we think “oh I failed there I wanted to do so much better”. Speaks of wrongdoing, but this scripture is saying “no no, don't focus on that. Focus on the fact that I am able to keep you from falling, and to get down in the mire of this whole negative stuff. Don't go there, go to the next part of this scripture where it says, I’m able to present you faultless, without any of this stuff, I can present you faultless before the throne the throne of his presence, of his glory, and I will present you with exceeding joy. That's how the Savior looks at you. He's joyful over you. He's joyful because of your heart. Maybe your behavior misses the mark, sometimes, but he's looking at your heart, and he said, “don't worry about it, I got this. I'm able to present you, yeah you, faultless before the throne of God.” Focus on that because it will make your heart sing and overflow with exceeding joy. You're not too much for him to handle. We just praise him today for his greatness, his goodness, his faithfulness, and his ability to do in us what we sometimes can't do ourselves. He is able. God bless you today.
